When you do Kundalini meditation, you do not require any chanting. No sound is necessary. Observe the pressure sensation of your life-force.
3. No need for pranayama
You do not need breathe deeply and slowly throughout your meditation session. You need not concentrate on your breathing at all. Just focus on the pulsation of your life-force.
4. Let go of your thoughts
Take permission from you mind that you will need to meditate. Promise it that you will listen to it once the meditation is over. Your mind will cooperate with you.
5. Start With 15 to Minutes Daily
Start small when learning anything new. Meditation takes only 15 to 20 minutes per day, so try starting out with just 15 minutes daily.
6. Sit Up Straight
Sit upright, but not rigidly straight. Let your spine naturally curve slightly forward. Relax your shoulders and jaw.
7. Close Eyes
Close your eyes and relax. Don’t worry about falling asleep; simply let your mind relax and concentrate on your life-force.
8. Repeat the Affirmation
At the end of the meditation, Repeat an affirmation meaning to you. You can choose a phrase that resonates with you, like “I am happy and productive.”
9. Visualize Positive Thoughts
Visualize a scene in your head that makes you feel peaceful and productive. Imagine yourself being productive throughout the day without procrastinating. Your brain will begin to drive your body towards productive actions.
10. Stay Present
Stay focused on the present moment. When you think about the past, you’re thinking about things that happened in the past. The past has already happened. You cannot change it. When you think about things in the future, you’re thinking about the future. You have no clue what the future holds and therefore have no point in worrying about it. Now is your gift. Let the present rule your mind.
