I recently read a news item that was very positive and heartening. Some years ago, I was involved in teaching yoga and meditation to the Indian territorial army in Coimbatore. The news item reminded of it. I would love to see the army and the police meditating regularly in my country.
Police officers in Ontario’s Peel Region attended a Buddhist Temple to learn more about meditation!
Let me first explain what meditation is all about before I tell you why I am excited about this news item. This type of meditation is to reduce stress and to turn on the love for your fellow being…
Now do you understand why I am excited about this news item? No? Let me explain some more.
Any meditation, when practiced every day, opens ourselves more and more to the positive energy that is swirling around us.
Would you like to do a simple meditation with me?
All right. Sit comfortably and take three very deep breathe right up to your belly.
Next imagine any colour that you find pleasant descending upon you from the top sending all the stress, angst, anger, frustration and hurt right down to the earth.
Next imagine the one time in your life when everything was right in the world and when you felt indescribable peace and happiness. When you recreate such positive moments in your mind your body’s energetic frequency gets changed and the electromagnetic fields of your heart and brain are in sync with each other – this is called coherence.
When you are in this state of mind you can imagine the entire world away! Imagine what you want… what you wish for… what you hope for… things that you desire… things that make you happy…
The next step might be the hardest one…Would you be able to do it?
Next, you will need to let it all go…
Yes all your cherished dreams, desires, hopes and wants you will need to let it go.
Are you wondering why we need to let it all go?
We need to give it all up because it is our desire that is constricting us from achieving and by holding them close to our heart we will never see it fulfilled.
Trust me, if you practice this open-hearted simple meditation every day… you will soon see all your heart’s desire being fulfilled one by one. It sounds amazing but it is true.
This is how we bring in positive energy into our lives. When our cherished dreams and wishes are fulfilled we feel content, happy and loved.
Now coming back to the news item, I was very happy to see that law enforcement people – no matter what country they belong to practice meditation. Why am I happy?
That’s because these are the people who see the most negative things that happen in the world. Murder, rape, theft, backstabbing, cheating, infidelity, molestation, bribery… the list goes on. They come in contact with the vilest acts of violence and are forced to rub shoulders with the perpetuators of these acts.
Law enforcers in any country work under stress at all times and it is no wonder that it has an adverse effect on their health and mind.
That’s why I was happy to learn that these Canadian Police Officers wanted a meditation session to relieve their stress.
I wish we could do a similar course for our own law enforcers and police force and help them remove all the negative energy that has accumulated in their body and mind.
A more powerful meditation technique that is easy to learn and practice by anyone above the age of 14 is Simplified Kundalini Yoga.
If you wish to learn and practice SKY meditation with us, you can visit our Naturopathy & Yoga website and book a session.
Imagine Indian police practicing meditation? I am sure they would let go of all the negative energy that is plaguing them.
Join me in taking a strong affirmation that our police and army should all meditate daily on their life force. May their Kundalini Shakthi arise and lead them on a prosperous and peaceful path.
